Every year, the Kappa Foundation provides its donors with an impact report to clearly illustrate how their dollars are making a difference in the lives of members. Through a storytelling approach, readers get a true taste of how they're fulfilling the evolving needs of Kappas and women around the world.
FOUNDERS DAY GIVING CHALLENGE ... OF THE DECADES
The third annual Founders Day Giving Challenge (FDGC) was one for the decades. Literally. It celebrated Kappas of all ages while honoring the rich history of their sisterhood. With personalized subject lines and email content for each decade, we saw an open rate of 33.4%, which is higher than the benchmarks for all industries and that of nonprofits as well. 
Through the targeted email campaign and a creative social presence, the Foundation raised $646,106 in just 72 hours.
GIVING TUESDAY NOW
In the midst of a global pandemic, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation joined the efforts of Giving Tuesday Now, an emergency day of giving. With this story-based campaign, we were able to provide insight into the impact the Rose McGill Fund has on members in need.
The emails and social posts sharing the story of Laurie Welling, a member who was furloughed due to the coronavirus, raised over $10,000 in donations to the Rose McGill Fund, with 40% given by first-time donors.
